Swede's Den is a Design & Upholstery studio specializing in the revival of Antique, Vintage and Heirloom homewares.
Each year, Americans throw out more than 12 million tons of furniture and furnishings, according to the EPA.
Furniture has always interested me so I began my upholstery journey in 2013, learning the techniques from master upholsterer Eliud Grijalva and apprenticed for him to be a small part in saving furniture from being discarded.
My focus is primarily Mid Century Modern, Heirloom Antiques, Automotive interiors and motorcycle/bicycles.
Each piece is completely different than the last, so I am drafting new patterns for each new style. It requires to be resourceful, use techniques I've used in the past, patience and close attention to detail.
