  • Digital marketer and graphic designer for the screen print and apparel industry. Responsible for creating all graphics for ROQ.US and making sure it matches the disruptive/edgy voice and overall brand while also keeping to the brand guidelines. I provide creative ideas and solutions to bring ideas and projects to fruition. Marketing for capital screen print equipment is vastly different than e-commerce, so I’m also involved in working through the strategy of drip campaigns.

    Responsible for managing the marketing team to make sure that all projects are created to the scope presented by all stakeholders and delivered on time. Responsible for Project Management with use of Asana, and leading the team in organizing the content calendar and delegating tasks to reach deadlines. Ability to stay agile and pivot when timelines unexpectedly change and work with the team to come up with the best alternative to still make it happen.     Main design responsibilities:
     

    • Create engaging designs that support and elevate the brand.

    • Conceptualize, spearhead and craft solutions for new design campaigns and marketing initiatives. Present creative concepts and executions during review meetings with key stakeholders.

    • Work closely with the president and directors to develop and execute a variety of design deliverables: marketing materials, presentation decks, layouts, printed media, digital storytelling, 360-degree campaigns, brand identity and more.

    • Collaborate with directors, team, and partner stakeholders to bring concepts to life across all touchpoints including website landing pages, product pages, campaign launches and printed materials.

    • Present innovative ideas to improve the brand’s identity by creating new print, digital downloads and trade show experiences while still adhering to brand guidelines.

    • Re-branded company social media and helped take it from 5k followers to 28k in one year with the collaboration of the team.

    • Build and maintain design systems.

    • Collaborate with external partners and other distributing partners to create cohesive designs for all marketing materials.

    • Design monthly 2 page spreads for Screen Print Magazine that focus on education and product highlights.

    • Design all tradeshow materials from large format graphics to signage and postcards.

    • Manage workflow and day to day tasks to meet business and creative deadlines.

    • Design lead generation e-books and free download resources.

     

    Main project and marketing management responsibilities:
     

    • Lead team meetings where we review the previous week's analytics and what areas we need to improve on as well as the areas that did well so we can replicate.

    • Create strategic structure of campaigns so they align with the business goals, and move leads through the sales funnel.

    • Oversee email list of 15k+ and assist in the strategy, design, build targeted/ segmented email.

    • Create the framework of organization through Asana by brining in all stakeholders, their role in the project and the objectives.

    • Connect the projects to the content launch calendar so we can have a holistic view of what is going out publicly and all that is required and involved behind the scenes

    • Lead and manage all marketing events from concept to execution. 6 trade shows per year, working around capital equipment in 50x50, 20x30 and 20x10 booth spaces.

    • Oversee email list of 15k+ and assist in the strategy and design to build targeted/segmented email.

  • Art Director & Sr. Graphic Designer

    Responsible for all branding/re-branding of existing and new brands. Functions include: leading a creative design team, brand/campaign strategy, brainstorming, design execution, tradeshow & environmental design, managing contract & vendor relationships.

    Creative Lead & Graphic Designer

    Responsible for the design revamp of various channels and working with the team through reviewing analytics and campaign/brand strategy. Created the Screen Print Experience on site class presentations held at partner shop locations across the US. Developing treatments for product catalog with editorial content along with curating lifestyle imagery. Designed web treatments for campaigns, and supporting assets for email, social and video.

    Graphic Designer

    Supported with print design, trade show/environmental design, packaging design and web design. Created slide decks, operated large format Mimaki printer for banners/cut vinyl and contributed to Youtube channel.

    Production Designer & Manager

    Operated Mimaki CJV150 for in-house design needs. Tradeshow, swag and branded manufactured cut vinyl. Managed in house print production for product catalogs, along with managing darkroom.

  • Owned and operated brick and mortar Upholstery shop downtown Main St, Vancouver WA. Designed retail store front, and workshop where I would get walk in foot traffic as well as work of mouth business. Primarily focussed on antique and mid century restorations along with pre '69 automotive interior. Required to create estimates, custom patterns, stitching, tear down and complete restoration. Other functions included - day to day billing, purchasing, accounting, merchandising & networking.

  • While leveraging my long experience in retail, I applied my design skill set with the familiar retail setting.
    It’s with Jackson & Polk where I leaped from management to design and assistant buyer for the cozy,
    and highly visited boutique in Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco. I was responsible for all visual
    merchandising, window displays and signage.

  • Responsible for visuals on proposed designs for both mobile and web platforms of beta start-up networking platform.

    Also responsible for creating a library of over 200 sports icons where they would be used across the platform to show where you could find any sporting event - from Baseball to Luging, the pen tool became my right hands, right hand.
